Mt. Joy Cyclones

The Mount Joy Cyclones are a 8 on 8 semi-pro football team based out of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. Coming into 2014 the Cyclones will be playing in their 6th season in the GEFA. After struggling to a combined record of 3-27 in their first three seasons, the Cyclones posted a 4-6 record and earned their first playoff victory in franchise history. The following season the Cyclones started the season a Franchise best 7-0. Week seven starting QB Greg Medina went down with an Achilles tear, Struggling to find a replacement the Cyclones ended the year with an 8-2 record. Limping into the playoffs the Cyclones did manage to win their first round game and head onto their first Conference Championship in Franchise history. Cyclones would go on to lose to the Defending Conference Champs Harrisburg Sharks. The Cyclones finished the 2014 GEFA season with a win over a very good team, the DUBOIS MT LIONS. Winning in dramatic fashion, the CYCLONES earned their first title in the league. We would like to thanks everyone for the support we continue to  receive. 2015 didn't end as well 2014. It was a rematch of the 2014 keystone bowl but ended differently. The lions pulled away after halftime to win the championship. The CYCLONES came back reloaded and with renewed focus in 2016 and ran the table finishing with an impressive 13-0 record. The playoff format was changed so an CYCLONES vs LIONS rematch occurred in the conf championship with the CYCLONES winning in dominate fashion, then going on to win keystone bowl 12 by the largest margin of victory in GEFA history. After another long grueling off season the CYCLONES return most of their team mixed in with some rookies to the league and a couple former players of other teams looking to become just the second team to win back to back titles and have three total titles. If you ask most of the vets on the team, winning the championship isn't the goal. They look to become the first team to have back to back undefeated season. Stay tuned!!! WHO RUN IT!!!!
